Dr. Bradshaw is awarded the Golden Torch Award by the Mortar Board Society

Sunday, April 8th, 2018

Dr. Craig Bradshaw is presented the Golden Torch award by the Achafoa chapter of the Mortar Board society at their annual initiation ceremony. This award is presented annually to one member of each college within the university. Dr. Bradshaw was one of five faculty awarded at the event.

Golden Torch Award details, from the Mortar Board Society:

Since its formation in 1930, the Achafoa chapter of Mortar Board has recognized members for their superior scholastic ability, outstanding, and continual leadership, and dedicated service to the university community. Each year, members of the Achafoa chapter of Mortar Board nominate and select an outstanding faculty member from each college whom the chapter believes has made significant contributions toward the success of students. Specifically, these individuals are those who have shown dedication to the ideals of Mortar Board and have promoted these ideals among the students of Oklahoma State University.

In addition, Achafoa members select an office or department on campus that has made a noteworthy impact on the past, present, and future students of Oklahoma State University. This department then selects, through whatever process they deem appropriate, one individual whom they believe has sought to promote scholarship, leadership and service while striving for the success of Oklahoma State University and its students, faculty and staff. These individuals are honored with the Golden Torch Award, presented at the initiation ceremony.
